I'm Katie Pearse, the creative force behind Glisten Academy. Since 2006, when a college in my city approached me about becoming a marketing instructor, I've been teaching adult learners. I left my marketing career to launch a luxury cleaning company in 2008.

Before I turned 30 years old, I achieved remarkable success with my cleaning company, with annual sales exceeding $1.3 million. Leveraging my marketing expertise, I created a sought-after cleaning service known for delivering exceptional customer experiences, cleaning for a client list of multi-millionaires, including NHL hockey stars.

Having made a name for myself in the world of cleaning and around North America as a cleaning business success story, I began being approached by industry partners like ISSA, ARCSI, Jobber, and others to share my strategies and help other cleaning business owners succeed. Sharing my insights and creative approaches to solving common business problems, I have been honored to speak at industry events for brands like LG, Rogers Business, ISSA/ARCSI, Maidily, Maid Summit, Jobber, and more!

As the president and lead instructor at Glisten Academy, I help shape the next generation of elite cleaning entrepreneurs with relevant, in-depth training and resources. I am 100% transparent and honest, so you know exactly what is possible in this industry. I'm not selling you a dream you can't achieve!

With a BA, a diploma in Public Relations, and a Web Intelligence certificate from the University of California, I combine my academic love of teaching marketing with a passion for the cleaning industry. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, I cherish the support of my loving husband Alex, sweet little girl Alexandra, and two darling Yorkies, Winnie and Chester.
