Katie Pearse has been an advocate for digital marketing since the early days of her career, when she began working for in corporate communications. After three years, she left to use her online marketing expertise with her own business, a residential and commercial cleaning company, which was also the first 100% eco-friendly cleaning service in Canada. After winning many awards including "Best of Edmonton" for three consecutive years, she retired from the business and began consulting and teaching.
Currently she mentors and speaks throughout North America and works with clients all over the province, providing business and marketing consulting. She also teaches through business school where she meets many types of entrepreneurs, and is a role model for how to conduct business in the digital age, without ever using gimmicks or spammy marketing.
Her objective is to build a community and network of elite people and teach them everything she knows. An expert in writing for the web, content marketing, social media marketing and website design, she is a consultant for businesses large and small, and also teaches through online courses.

My fascination with marketing and customer behaviour really became an obsession while I was in university. After working on my BA and majoring in psychology, I completed a diploma in Public Relations. I taught myself everything I could about the (then) emerging field of digital marketing. I love computers and love how web analytics and data can prove how well marketing works. I started teaching at colleges in 2007 and soon was invited to be a speaker and presenter for various companies. In 2014 I started my own consulting firm and have been providing instruction to business owners in all industries ever since. At my core, I am a web designer with exceptional writing talent (ask my friends about how my essays were always given 100% or higher throughout school and university). I do love to write but prefer to use my talents for copywriting (using words to sell!)
